Honey bee Network over the last 12 years have grown in strength and spread. The world wide network in 77 countries and a very strong regional network bringing out publication in regional versions. Through various research projects value addition was done on the output of the network, the Honey Bee Database of grassroots innovations. Development of this database over the years shows a collection of 10,000 innovations and contemporary innovative practices and some examples of outstanding traditional practices.
Over the years a lot of research have been put up in developing the Honey Bee database into multimedia/multilingual database. IDRC have provided assistance for research on the database. InfoDev have provided assistance in augmenting the multimedia/multilingual database. Infodev besides providing support in building the electronic network for connecting innovators and actualizing the electronic network for golden triangle of creativity.
